Assembly Instructions

Light Cuts and Cloud Mobiles have the same assembly principle.
Please watch the video to see the process of assembly before you begin.
You can also follow the instructions inside the packaging.

ASSEMBLY OF LIGHT CUTS

We highly recommend you to first watch the assembly video on our
website before you start. Scan the QR code on the bottom of the
packaging box to go to the link where you will find the assembly videos.

There are some basic steps to be followed for an easy assembly and
eye-pleasing result. Since the pieces are very delicate, the assembly
should be made in a stress-free environment, with utmost care and
patience.

It‘s fun - enjoy the process!

Wear the white gloves included in the accessories box to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the pieces.

Place all the pieces on a clean surface, on your table or desk.

The starting piece should be the guide as it will be the piece to hold the sculpture in the base.

Find the starting piece that corresponds exactly to the drawing shown
on the product package, according to your light cuts version.

Take another 2 or 3-cut piece and slowly and carefully fit the cuts of these two pieces in a 90º angle to each other.

If the alignment is not correct, the cuts will either not fit, or you
may easily break and/or scratch the piece. In the worst case the
sculpture cannot be completed.

The fitting should be handled very carefully, make sure that you
always comply to the 90º alignment of the pieces. Once you press gently
the two pieces together, both pieces stick firmly.

Pick another piece and place it on the next cut as described in the previous steps.

Always avoid using power to put the cuts together, they are designed to fit easily.

The surfaces of each side of the pieces are different. One side is
plain and the other side is laminated with a thin film. You can flip the
direction of the second piece to get a smoother fit.

Visualize the sculpture in 3 dimensions while you fit the pieces
together. When using pieces with 1 cut, 2 cuts or 3 cuts, look a step
further: 1 cut pieces are intended to be the last pieces on the edges.
When one of the cuts is used, 3 cut pieces will be followed by two other
pieces and 2 cut pieces will be followed by one other piece.

Continue assembling all the pieces fitting the cuts together.

The sculpture is designed to use all the pieces and when completed, there should not be any open cuts.

Think about the balance of the sculpture and avoid creating a shape that leans onto one side.

After assembly of all the pieces, hold the sculpture carefully and
place the starting piece in the base, making sure that it fits into the
cut of the base.

We recommend not to change the design after you achieved your desired
result. The sculpture is intended to be assembled only once.

Avoid dropping the pieces or the finished sculpture, they may break.

You can clean your sculpture with the microfiber cloth provided. You
can dampen the cloth with water or use a small amount of glass cleaner.
Never use harsh chemical cleaners.

Now your own LIGHT CUTS is ready!

Showcase it in a place where it catches the sunlight. It will
transform your space with its surprising colorful reflections. You can
rotate it and play with the reflections as you wish.

While choosing where to display it, keep your kids and your pets in
mind. Everybody will be magnetically drawn to your sculpture and will
want to touch it and experiment with it - and the rules of gravity.

Be careful, this is not a toy, it is an art piece.

Enjoy!

ASSEMBLY OF CLOUD MOBILES

You can group them by the number of their cuts.

Find a 3-cut piece as your starting piece. Take another piece and
slowly and carefully fit the cuts of these two pieces in a 90º angle to
each other.

If the alignment is not correct, the cut will either not fit, or you
may easily break and/or scratch the piece. In the worst case the mobile
can not be completed.

The fitting should be handled very carefully, make sure that you always

comply to the 90º alignment of the pieces. Once you press gently the two pieces together, both pieces stick firmly.

Pick another piece and place it on the next cut as described in the previous steps.

Always avoid using power to put the cuts together, they are designed to fit easily.

The surfaces of each side of the pieces are different. One side is plain and the other

side is laminated with a thin film. You can flip the direction of the second piece to get a smoother fit.

Visualize the mobile in 3 dimensions while you fit the pieces

The
mobile is designed to use all the pieces and when completed, there
should not be any open cuts.

After assembly of all the pieces, hold the mobile carefully and check
the overall design. If necessary, you can make some changes. We
recommend not to change the design after you achieved your desired
result. The mobile is intended to be assembled only once.

Avoid dropping the pieces or the finished mobile, they may break. You
can clean your mobile with the microfiber cloth provided. You can
dampen the cloth with water or use a small amount of glass cleaner.
Never use harsh chemical cleaners.

When you have achieved your desired result, find a good point to
attach the wire, considering the balance of the assembly. The wire will
be squeezed between the cuts. Make a thick knot at one end of the wire.
Disassemble only the exact cut where you want to place the wire. Place
the looped wire in between the cuts and re-assemble the cuts again with a
90º angle to each other and squeeze the wire in between the cuts. The
knot must be thick enough not to slip through. Then you can attach the
other end of the wire to the swivel hook provided in the accessories
box. Make sure that both knots are secure.

Choose a suitable ceiling plug and hook screw according to your
ceiling type and mount the mobile safely with the swivel hook provided.

Now your own CLOUD MOBILE is ready!

Showcase it in a place where it catches the sunlight. It will transform your space with its surprising colorful reflections.

Set it into motion and play with the reflections as you wish.

While choosing where to display it, keep your kids and your pets in
mind. Never place it above a baby crib, a kid’s bed, or your own bed.
Never hang it too low, as it has sharp edges and can be dangerous.

Everybody will be magnetically drawn to your mobile and will want to touch it and experiment with it - and the rules of gravity.

Be careful, this is not a toy, it is an art piece.

Enjoy!
